 5 cloves of crushed garlic

 coarse salt to taste

How to make termite roasted in the oven:

How to season termites to roast in the oven? Start by mixing the ingredients to marinate the termite: wine, soy sauce, garlic, bay leaves, thyme, pepperoni (if you like food with a spicy taste) and black pepper.

Tip: Leave the salt to season just before roasting, this way you can ensure that the meat stays juicy.

Place the termite in a roasting pan, pour the previous mixture over it and mix the meat well in this seasoning. Cover with plastic wrap and reserve the termite in the refrigerator for 8-12 hours, turning the meat 3 to 4 times.

Tip: It is important that the meat is marinated for the time indicated to absorb the flavors of the spices. However, if you can't marinate it for that long, just leave it for 2 hours.

After the indicated time, turn the oven on at 200ºC. Season all the termites with coarse salt to taste, cover with aluminum foil and roast for 2 to 3 hours together with the marinade in the roasting pan. At the end of this time, remove the aluminum foil and leave the meat in the oven for another 30 minutes, to brown.

Tip: The ideal is to remove the termite from the refrigerator 30 minutes before roasting. So it returns to room temperature and bakes more easily without drying out.

Remove your roasted termite in the oven and let it sit for 10 minutes before cutting, so the meat juices settle and it becomes juicier. When serving, accompany the termite with roasted potatoes and salad leaves. Bon appetit and let us know in the comments what you think!
